The sea had always been part of Kai Anderson’s life.

“You’re in Professor Morgan’s class.”

“I am.”

She picked up her bag.

She walked away.

Kai watched her for a moment.

“I don’t.”

“Then come on.”

They walked to a small café near the university.

They talked for almost two hours.
